Third annual awards program recognizes Community Brands learning management system among the ‘best of the best’ business-oriented learning systems
ST. PETERSBURG, Fla.—January 30, 2018 — Community Brands, a technology-driven company that delivers purpose-built solutions to the world’s leading not-for-profit organizations, today announced that the company’s Crowd Wisdom™ learning management system (LMS) won several honors at the 2017 Talented Learning LMS Awards. Among the awards received were a first place for “Best Continuing Education LMS”; second place for “Best LMS Demonstration Expert”; and third place for “Best Channel Partner LMS,” “Best Association LMS,” and “Best LMS Sales Star.”
The annual LMS vendor awards program highlights the best learning management system vendors worldwide across a total of 12 key categories. Winners were revealed during December 2017 by Talented Learning.
“We are thrilled that Crowd Wisdom continues to be the most award-winning platform in the association market,” said Tristan Jordan, EVP and General Manager, Careers & Education, Community Brands. “By delivering a learning system that’s adaptable and complete, our customers are empowered to improve and provide efficient and engaging education and certification programs for learners. With our learning platform, constituents connect, collaborate and discover valuable professional education resources. Meanwhile, organizations create lasting relationships so constituent connections may be kept strong with fresh and relevant content, while providing valuable tools and analysis in assessment, evaluation and certification.”
Jordan added: “We are especially pleased with the individual award-winning performances of both Marc Benton and Julie Ann Lenox, who were both recognized for their roles sharing the benefits of Crowd Wisdom during real-life sales opportunities managed by Talented Learning during this program.” Benton and Lenox were identified among the top three for “Best LMS Demonstration Expert” and “Best LMS Sales Star,” respectively. “Working each day in the trenches, side-by-side with both LMS buyers and sellers, gives us a unique insider’s view of the learning systems landscape,” said John Leh, CEO and Lead Analyst, Talented Learning. “It’s tempting to become distracted by hot new technology trends, but ultimately buyers want solutions that deliver real business value. It’s not about technology, per se. It’s about how technology can help improve the process of learning. That’s the driver behind our LMS award choices.”
Talented Learning selected this year’s award finalists from more than 125 top-tier vendors it has evaluated in-depth during the past four years. Winners are selected and chosen by Talented Learning, and the Talented Learning LMS Awards are intended to help buyers navigate the uncertain waters of today’s learning technology marketplace. Consideration for award selection is based on: executive briefings with Talented Learning analysts, in-depth product demonstrations, participation and performance in real-life sales opportunities managed by Talented Learning, feedback from customers who have chosen and deployed these solutions, and feedback from current and former employees of these vendors.
