Aptify’s Education Management application has been designed to be flexible enough to manage various types of course administration systems,
whether it is maintaining professional licensing, certifying employees or members,
or offering continuing education courses.
 Aptify Education Management allows
an organization to manage course planning, which includes
setting up curriculums,
courses, classes, and exams for certification and continuing education, and tracking
a student’s certification status.
The Education Management module tracks which classes are offered for a course, which
lessons and other reusable “parts” constitute a particular course, which courses
make up a course category, and which course categories and/or courses make up a
curriculum. Grouping and combining courses and course categories allow for the successful
completion of certain courses to apply for different certifications in curriculums
that require some of the same courses.
Course administrators can create lists of schools and instructors for each course
and track whether they are active or inactive to offer or
 teach a particular class. Administrators can determine
and track a student’s certification status and when it expires in the student’s
Certifications record.
The module also lets instructors create and select exams for their courses, record
class meeting agendas (syllabi), and automate
test scoring with a Scantron wizard.
The Education Management system is scalable to meet each individual organization’s
needs, whether the organization handles all phases of the certification process
internally, or outsources any or all of the certification tracking process. The
application also integrates with Aptify’s E-Business Suite to provide on-line e-Learning
functionality that allows students to select and register for courses on-line. |
