Aptify’s smart-client for Windows provides a Microsoft Office® style user environment which can host any number of business applications. These applications completely control the user environment and can choose to take advantage of any of the native run-time capabilities in the Aptify platform.

A user’s profile will be rendered via the Smart-Client and Aptify Web Access client in very similar ways to enable users to access all business application via Windows and the Web.

• Aptify Smart-Client for Windows provides a comprehensive and totally configurable user-experience that can host any number of business applications that are plugged-in.
• Aptify Web Access provides a user experience which is very similar to the Smart-Client. Aptify Web Access displays the same business applications as the Smart-Client for Windows and is AJAX-enabled.
• Custom UI – Aptify enables developers to reuse components of its run-time framework without using the Aptify Smart-Client or Aptify Web Access client directly.

Aptify provides a native application server technology that can be used to execute asynchronous or scheduled process flows. Any number of application servers can be supported in an enterprise deployment.

Aptify fully supports Microsoft SQL Server Merge Replication to enable enterprises to distribute data across multiple servers and also enables the use of the Aptify Smart-Client in “offline” mode.
