      <title>Aptify Releases Version 5.0</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;APTIFY RELEASES VERSION 5.0&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Aptify, a leading international provider of association and member relationship management software, other vertically-focused industry solutions and the acclaimed Application Lifecycle Platform for .NET announces the release of Aptify 5.0. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Aptify's Vice President of Research and Development Ravi Nagarajan says, "The new release strikes a balance between advancing the underlying technology of the Aptify Application Lifecycle Platform and developing new business application functionality requested by our clients." &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Ensuring that customers can seamlessly migrate forward is of equal importance to advancing the technology. This includes making sure customers are not left behind on dated or obsolete platforms. Since product inception, Aptify has provided its customers with an upgrade path that has met this goal. Aptify's robust upgrade infrastructure allows client configurations to migrate from one version to the next with much less effort than systems of similar complexity. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
While the Aptify 5.0 release contains a significant amount of new functionality, it is built upon the solid foundation created by the Aptify 4.0 product. Aptify 5.0 also takes full advantage of Microsoft .NET 3.5 and Microsoft SQL Server 2008. Many of the user interface capabilities originally introduced in 4.0 have been greatly enhanced. An example is the addition of Role Based Profiles which provide Aptify customers with nine profiles that can be associated with different user types such as Order Entry Clerks, Membership Processing, Event Management, Shipping/Receiving, Accounting, Executive users and more. Aptify's flexible architecture makes it possible to easily tailor each user experience for different types of users. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Another goal met by the new release was to embrace the latest presentation and navigation techniques employed by Microsoft. Aptify 5.0 now uses the Ribbon Navigation concept present in Microsoft Office 2007, so that the user experience is seamless between Aptify and familiar applications such as Outlook and Excel. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Nagarajan says, "The Aptify Client Community provided significant input for the 5.0 release. We are looking forward to receiving additional community-driven input for 6.0 and beyond.       <title>The Catholic Health Association Of The United States Selects Aptify</title>
      <description>&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;THE CATHOLIC HEALTH ASSOCIATION OF THE UNITED STATES SELECTS APTIFY AS ITS NEW ASSOCIATION MANAGEMENT SYSTEM&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;The Catholic Health Association of the United States (CHA), representing the nation's largest group of not-for-profit health care sponsors, systems and facilities, has selected Aptify as its new Association Management System (AMS).&lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
CHA Senior Director of Information Technology, Janey Brummett says CHA started looking for a new application when its current system was coming to the end of its useful life and would no longer be supported. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
"Our process began with the creation of an internal selection team made up of all areas of the association; an outside consultant also assisted us in our search. Once the internal team was identified, we established our business requirements and developed an RFP that was distributed to several AMS vendors", says Brummett. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Aptify was one of four vendors invited to demonstrate to CHA's selection team. Brummett says, "After weighing all of the various features and functions of each application, the consensus of the internal selection team was that Aptify was the best product for our association." &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Some of CHA's key drivers, included Aptify's user interface, business intelligence capabilities and out of the box functionality. These capabilities combined with the ability for CHA's internal technology team to easily configure and support Aptify led the team to its final decision. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Utilizing Aptify's best-practice functionality and extensible platform will allow CHA to enhance its processes in multiple areas of the organization. CHA staff will be empowered to access data and information on their own without the assistance of technology staff, thus allowing them to get to the information they need and in the format most useful to them. CHA's members will benefit by being able to view and update their profile information via the web, a more streamlined online registration process for educational events and programs and more simplified order processing of products. The implementation is expected to be completed in the fall of 2009. &lt;br /&gt;

    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Expo Management: EXPOCAD Integration&lt;/strong&gt; - Aptify 4.5 includes a new generic infrastructure to integrate with third-party floor plan systems. This new version provides built-in integration with EXPOCAD, one of the leading exposition floor plan vendors on the market today. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Order Entry: Automatically Generate Credit Memos for Advance Payments&lt;/strong&gt; - Aptify 4.5 streamlines the data entry process with its Order Entry system, as a user can automatically create a credit memo order when customers provide a payment in advance, that does not apply to any existing order. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Committee Management: Committee Term Renewal Wizard&lt;/strong&gt; - A new Committee Term Renewal wizard allows users to easily select members and/or add them from one term to another. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aptify Framework Administration: Meta-Data Driven Wizards&lt;/strong&gt; - Beginning with Aptify 4.5, system administrators and developers can easily create new wizards in Aptify, entirely through meta-data, without having to compile code in Visual Studio. &lt;/li&gt;
    &lt;li&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Aptify Framework Enhancement: Drag-and-Drop Attachments to a Record&lt;/strong&gt; - With Aptify 4.5, a user can add attachments by dragging and dropping files to a record's Attachments tab. The release also includes the ability to drag and drop emails from Microsoft Outlook to records in Aptify for maximum productivity. Aptify's 4.5 release is compatible with Microsoft® Windows Vista, SQL Server 2005 Workgroup Edition and the 64-bit Windows 2003 Server operating system. &lt;/li&gt;

      <title>Meeting Professionals International Selects Aptify</title>

&lt;p&gt;Global Health Council, the world's largest membership alliance dedicated to saving lives by improving health throughout the world, will implement Aptify's Association Management System in their Washington, D.C. and Vermont locations. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
Organizational challenges prompted the Global Health Council's decision to implement a new software system to manage their core business operations. The challenges included varying internal business practices, poor work flow and a lack of accurate business information. As a result, the organization decided to review all solutions in the marketplace and after an extensive due diligence process, selected Aptify as the best solution for its needs. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
"The existing system was not user-friendly", says Global Health Council Vice President of Operations Don Beddie. "Many of the users had to develop manual Excel spreadsheets so that they could complete their work, which resulted in 'islands of information' and was very unproductive." Additionally, the previous system had not followed a good implementation process and did not meet their evolving needs. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The Council went with a 'best-of-class' approach and narrowed a list of seven vendors down to two and then to one. Aptify offered a completely new look and feel and ensured that the long term goals of the organization would be met through the flexibility of its industry-leading technology. Beddie says this was essential for user buy-in, as the users disliked the old system. He says, "Anything that resembled the previous solution was just not going to work." &lt;br /&gt;

Global Health Council was especially impressed with Aptify's work flow and business process automation architecture. Aptify's system provides users the ability to easily configure the software, including modifying the business process logic, user interface and web pages without any programming. The Council will use Aptify's Association Management software to continue to grow their membership. Beddie commented, "The Aptify system will allow us to focus 100 percent on our members. The organization will also take advantage of improved productivity, as users will no longer have to crunch numbers manually due to Aptify's built in Business Intelligence and Reporting capability. Aptify's e-Business and Fundraising applications will be implemented at the same time as the rest of the system. Beddie says, "Our Fundraising Department has been dying for this type of functionality." &lt;br /&gt;

      <title>Aptify Holds Its 2008 Users Conference, "Making The Most Of Aptify"</title>

&lt;p&gt;Aptify, a leading international provider of association and member-relationship management software, e-Business, education management and other applications, held its 2008 Users Conference, September 14-17, in Chicago, IL. &lt;br /&gt;

The conference included representatives from customer organizations, technology consultants and Aptify's international partners. &lt;br /&gt;

The theme of the conference, "Making the Most of Aptify", was established by a panel of customers from several organizations who had expressed a desire to learn how to make better use of their current systems. The focus blended a review of the upcoming Aptify 5.0 release, while also taking a look at areas within the current version of the product that could be used more effectively. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
A number of individuals from the client community contributed to the content and success of the event. Highlights included a presentation focusing on Business Intelligence Principles that was co-presented by Microsoft, and a session on Social Networking, presented by Don Dea, co-founder of Fusion Productions. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
The 2008 Aptify Users Conference also served as the launch event for the release of Aptify 5.0. Aptify 5.0 offers several enhancements, including a refreshed user interface, numerous improvements to role-based profiles, several new business application capabilities built into the core product, and platform enhancements. The Beta version of Aptify 5.0 was released on July 31, 2008 - the final release will occur in Q4 of this year. &lt;br /&gt;
&lt;br /&gt;
During the conference, the Aptify User Community, the independent community group run by Aptify users, ratified its bylaws and selected their new board members. This is an exciting development, as Aptify will now have an enhanced, independent group dedicated to providing input on products, services and future Users Conferences. &lt;br /&gt;

      <title>International Franchise Association Implements Aptify</title>

IFA Director of Information Systems Jason Yusko said that after an extensive due diligence process, Aptify was selected as the association's data management partner. &lt;br /&gt;

Ease of use was also a critical area for IFA. The Advertising module provides complete tracking of advertising sales, including publications, versions and frequency of ad run, a detailed history of ad size, color, caption or text to identify the ad, with special position and placement requests for complete account history, and the ability to track sales quote and rate card amounts, agency discounts and override prices. "With most systems, Advertising is an afterthought." Yusko said. "Aptify had invested time, thought and resources into their Advertising module." &lt;br /&gt;

IFA will use Aptify to improve their Business Intelligence capabilities so that they can better track their Return-On-Investment (ROI) and streamline processes and delete duplicate work via Aptify's Business Process Automation capabilities.&lt;br /&gt;
